One of the things that sets UCO Letterpress apart is that we embrace and mix analog and digital printing. No purists here, simply a question of how can we create killer work, and what machine or combination of machines will get us the best results. This poster, once printed, scanned and placed in Prezi, provided the outline for an academic presentation about the unique teaching methodologies that have been developed at the Lab and the strong student work that results.

Paper Jam: 2020 marked the 11th year for PaperJam, UCO Design's annual fundraising concert. Started by Inktank students for design students PaperJam pays for student competition entry fees. Typically 3-5 bands for 5 bucks PaperJam has raised almost 22,000 for our students! If you’re from a large well-funded school, this won’t seem like much…but it’s more than our disposable E&G account, raised by students, for students!
2020 was also the year of lockdown, the end/pause of live events, and the start of an outstanding relationship with Factory Obscura. We can’t thank them enough! They responded to our random request, helped us find performers, and created the safest environment for an amazing event that they also live streamed! They made PaperJam happen!
And even better news…we’re partnering with them again for Fall 2021, can’t thank them enough!
Proposed solution for ACM@UCO's Metro Music Fest.

After completing the Pangolin project we started work on the Let Us Live campaign.
“The Let Us Live Campaign for WildAid targets youth ages 5-18 by placing illustrated large format 20 x 30” posters in schools with messaging that encourages students to connect with, support and protect their clan animals.
Very few Africans have visited their amazing national parks. But by targeting youth in schools we have found that we are able to take the message of conservation to both children and parents. Our campaign seeks to make conservation a matter of pride and aspiration for everyone in Africa.”—Nayantara Kilachand
