The brainchild of UCO AIGA student Board Member Naoma Serna, Design Homework Nights began in the fall of 2014 and happen every other Wednesday night from 9-12 in room 102 of the Art & Design Building.
Homework Nights encourages collaboration and connection among design students by creating an open, welcoming, and supportive creative community within the Design Department/School of Design.
My part in all this? I know a great idea when I see one! As School Director, I was pleased to support this program by buying the pizza and adding Rufus, the comfort dog. Woof!
I am very excited to report that McKenna Sanderson and AIGA have taken over this program and that, 10 years on, it’s still going strong! Sadly, Rufus passed away this year; he was the bestest boi.
